My Story

The Beginning of Pink Lines.

When I first discovered I was a mother-to-be, I was in no position in my life to comfortably bring a child into this world. At 28, I did not have the career I wanted, a husband, a home to call my own, or really a purpose or goal to move towards. Looking back on it now, god brings you through so many trials and tribulations during your first pregnancy. Not only in a hormonal sense but in life. Becoming a mother was the best thing that ever happened to me and I can say today that I know my purpose in life.
“Pink Lines” was created to share my recommendations on items I believe are necessary to obtain in different stages of your baby's first year in life. In today’s online shopping world there are hundreds of thousands of options to choose from when it comes to deciding on a bouncer, burp cloth, stroller, crib, etc. I would have loved to have some guidance and assistance when it came to making a baby registry or deciding why one option was better than the other. As a first time mother on a tight budget, I had invested in things my little one never used. I bought a glamorous bouncer thinking it would be the best option for him, and later discovered the cheaper, smaller, bouncer had more sensory items for him to develop on. Pink Lines is my personal recommendation of items a mother-to-be would need to begin her first year as a mother.
